A fully booked evening lecture by Stanford's Richard Meyer on Andy Warhol's fascination with everyday life.

Richard Meyer, Professor of Art History at Stanford University, gives a talk exploring how Andy Warhol observed the everyday world around him, from celebrities and socialites to supermarket shoppers and factory workers. Drawing on Warhol's writing and photography, the lecture touches on money, image, self-promotion, relationships and more, and asks what his observations from the 1970s and 80s might still say to us now. This event is organised by The Courtauld Centre for the Art of the Americas and takes place at the Vernon Square Campus, Lecture Theatre 2 (WC1X 9EW). It was free to attend with booking essential, but the event is now fully booked.
