Portland songwriter Alela Diane plays a standing gig with a full band at Stoller Hall, Manchester.

Alela Diane, the Portland-based indie folk songwriter, brings her full band to the Carole Nash Hall at Stoller Hall for a standing show. She's touring ahead of her new record Who's Keeping Time?, due out in May 2026 via Loose Music, following a decade spent quietly releasing music while raising her family. Her career began in 2004 with the DIY release of The Pirate's Gospel, and she's since toured with artists including Iron & Wine, Fleet Foxes, Joanna Newsom and The Decemberists, and played festivals such as End of the Road, Green Man and Newport Folk Festival. Tickets are £25 and this is a standing event, with doors opening at 7pm for a 7:30pm start. Free Friday Night Jazz runs from 5-7pm in the Stoller Hall atrium beforehand if you want to make an evening of it. Anyone with access requirements can contact the box office ahead of the show.
