Autumn Gala

The Autumn Gala takes place at Stephenson Steam Railway over two days, organised by the North Tyneside Steam Railway Association. It's a chance to see the railway's heritage in action, with the site's collection of locomotives and railway history on display alongside the usual attractions. Stephenson Steam Railway is also home to Billy, a forerunner of the Rocket and the third oldest surviving steam locomotive in the world, plus a woodland walk and a miniature light railway, so there's plenty to explore across the site during the gala weekend.
