Spilman's Pumpkin Festival runs on event days at Church Farm, Sessay, giving families a chance to head out and pick their own pumpkins for Halloween and autumn decorating. The farm's cafe is open alongside the festival serving brunch and lunch dishes, wood fired pizzas, homemade hot sandwiches, soup, pasties and sausage rolls, with gluten free options available, plus hot and cold drinks, snacks and cakes. The farm shop is also open on event days, stocked with local produce, treats and gifts. Event days run Wednesday to Sunday, with Wednesday to Friday open 11am to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday open 10am to 4pm. Tickets for the festival are released on 1st May, so it's worth getting yours ahead of a visit.
