A guided tour behind the scenes at the Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre, seeing conservation work in action.

This tour takes you into the Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre, the conservation studio where Royal Museums Greenwich looks after its collections, to see how objects are cared for and preserved. A guide walks you through the working spaces and explains the conservation processes going on there, offering a look at the practical side of museum work that visitors don't normally get to see. Tours run on the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 1.30pm. Tickets are £16 for adults and £12 for Members.
