A 60-minute drama about a Palestinian student in New York, part of the PalArt Festival at Pleasance.
Two Names, That Meet and Part follows Youssef, a young Palestinian student newly arrived in New York chasing the American dream: an education, a new life, the girl. Haunted by the ghost of activist Rachel Corrie and swept into campus protests that spiral out of his control, he finds that belonging keeps slipping away, with consequences that become impossible to escape. Part love story, part political reckoning, the play looks at the immigrant experience and asks what happens when the American dream was never really yours to have. This is a 60-minute production in the Studio at Pleasance, developed with the Mead Fellowship and co-produced with PalArt Collective as part of their 2026 festival. It carries a guideline age of 12+, and babies under 2 are not allowed in the venue. Performances run at 18:00 and 21:00, and there's 20% off group bookings of 4 or more applied at checkout.
