Theatre telling a Palestinian-American's first journey to Palestine, part of PalArt Festival at Pleasance Courtyard.
Return to Palestine follows Jad, an American-born Palestinian, on his first journey to Palestine, where he finds a reality far removed from the one shown in the media. Directed by Micaela Miranda and devised at The Freedom Theatre in Jenin Refugee Camp, the piece blends physical storytelling, live music, comedy and testimony, drawing on stories gathered from Jenin, Fasayel, Dheisheh, Mufaqara and Gaza's Jabalia Camp. It runs 50 minutes and is performed in the Main House Cabaret at Pleasance Courtyard, with a guideline age of 14+. The show contains strong language and mentions of war, violence and death. This is part of PalArt Festival 2026, PalArt Collective's celebration of Palestinian arts and culture. There's a Q&A after the 5:30pm performance on Saturday 3rd October, and groups of 4 or more get 20% off at checkout. Tickets are £16 for the Saturday 3rd October 17:30 performance; check prices for other dates and times in the run.
