Old Down Country Park's annual Low Noise Fireworks event takes place on Thursday 5th November, with a 12-minute display designed to be gentler and quieter, making it a good option for families with young children or anyone with sensory sensitivities. There are two sessions to choose from: gates open at 4pm for a 5pm show ending at 6pm, or gates open at 7pm for an 8pm show ending at 9pm. Alongside the fireworks there's live entertainment, children's fairground rides and marshmallow toasting, though these last two come at an additional charge. A bar and food vendors are on site too. The Country Park is mostly grassland underfoot, so dress for an outdoor evening event, and keep children close during the display for safety. Tickets start from £9.50 for children, with adult tickets at £13.50; under 2s and carers go free with a full paying admission and valid ID. Members get a discount on tickets when logged into their account.
