Halloween Half Term

Halloween activities at Old Down Country Park including slime making, pumpkin carving and a sweet-giving mascot.

Old Down Country Park gets into the Halloween spirit for half term, with spooky decorations around the park and a mascot handing out sweets Monday to Saturday. In the Crafty Cabin children can try their hand at slime making, and there's pumpkin carving available for £4 per pumpkin, which includes taking the carved pumpkin home. All of this is included with general park admission, except for the pumpkin carving which carries the small extra charge. Activities run on selected days rather than every day, and spaces can be limited and first-come first-served, so it's a good idea to look at the daily schedule once you arrive.
