Weekly guided walk around York Museum Gardens with a member of the Gardens Team.
Every Saturday and Sunday at 12pm, a member of the Gardens Team leads a guided tour around York Museum Gardens, taking in the historic trees, planting and the medieval ruins of St Mary's Abbey. Meet outside the Yorkshire Museum to join in, no booking needed, with a suggested donation of £5 towards the gardens' upkeep. It suits anyone keen to learn more about the gardens' history and plant collections, from casual visitors passing through York to locals wanting a closer look at what's growing. Private garden tours can also be arranged separately for groups.
