Bristol's free annual photobook festival with exhibitions, talks, signings and workshops at Martin Parr Foundation.
BOP 26 is Bristol's annual photobook festival, produced by Martin Parr Foundation, bringing together photographers and photobook publishers from the UK and Europe over a weekend of exhibitions, book signings and events. Highlights include a Martin Parr riso workshop with a large format risograph printer installed by Fieldworks, a programme of eight artist talks, and The PhotobookMuseum visiting from Cologne with an interactive installation of 48 handmade photobook dummies shortlisted for their Dummy Award 2026. There's also the Martin Parr Timeline exhibition on the outdoor stands, a pop-up zine making workshop called DARKROOM EVIDENCE run by The Photocopy Club, and the Community Photobook Table where visitors can leave their own photobooks and dummies for others to explore. Food and drink comes from Coffee Club (coffee, sweet treats and Argentinian empanadas), a pop-up bar from Lost and Grounded, and street food from Bristol Eats. Entry to the festival is free with no booking needed. Artist talks are ticketed separately at £6 (£4 for MPF members and students).
