Free Wednesday evening games night exploring the South Asian origins of Ludo, Snakes and Ladders and Carrom.

Made in South Asia Games Night is a regular Wednesday evening session held in the South Asia Gallery Project Space at Manchester Museum. It looks at the South Asian roots of games that have become household favourites, including Ludo, Snakes and Ladders and Carrom, giving visitors a chance to play and chat about where these games actually came from. It's free to attend but you'll need to book online beforehand. The event runs regularly on Wednesday evenings, with upcoming dates including 7 October and 11 November 2026, both from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
