A family-friendly guided tour of Manchester Museum's highlights, led by the Visitor Team.

Join a member of the Visitor Team for a highlights tour through Manchester Museum's collection of 4.5 million objects, starting in the Belonging Gallery. The tour picks out objects that have intrigued visitors for over a century, taking in stories that span millennia, and is pitched as family-friendly so it works well for a visit with children as well as adults on their own. Tours run on Fridays at 11:15 from 1 May 2026 to 24 December 2026. Tickets cost £5 and need to be booked online in advance.
