Ages 12+

A new play inspired by the Minotaur myth and the true story of Crete's lost Jews, for ages 12+.

NMT Automatics brings this epic play to the Synagogue at Manchester Jewish Museum, weaving the Minotaur myth together with the true story of Rena Depas and the lost Jews of Crete. The story is told through text, movement and shadow-play, following Rena's journey to find peace after violence. Age guidance is 12+, as the play contains references to the Holocaust and death. Doors open at 6pm with the cafe serving food and drinks from then, and the performance begins at 7pm. The show runs for around 2 hours including an interval and a post-performance Q&A, finishing around 9:20pm. Tickets are £16 full price, with £14 for MJM members and under 30s, and free entry for personal assistants. There's no cloakroom at the museum, so it's best to avoid bringing large bags.
