Celebrating Our Emergency Services

A Good Relations Week event at Grove Library with stories about the emergency services and a craft to make a fireman's helmet.

This session marks Good Relations Week with a focus on the emergency services and the part they play in supporting and protecting people across the community. Children can listen to stories about the work firefighters, paramedics and other emergency workers do, then join a craft activity afterwards to make their own fireman's helmet to take home. It runs at Grove Library on Wednesday 14 October 2026 from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. Call 028 9050 9244 or email grove.library@librariesni.org.uk for details on whether booking is needed.
