The Unravelling Wilburys

A tribute band playing Traveling Wilburys hits and songs by Dylan, Petty, Orbison, Lynne and Harrison, live at Frome Memorial Theatre.

The Unravelling Wilburys bring their comedy-laced set to Frome Memorial Theatre, playing through the best-known Wilbury tracks such as "Handle with Care" and "The End of the Line" alongside numbers linked to the band's famous counterparts, including "Only the Lonely", "Won't Back Down", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Like a Rolling Stone" and "Mr Blue Sky". The show is built around a tall tale that reverses the usual story, claiming the Unravelling Wilburys came first and that the famous Traveling Wilburys supergroup was the tribute act all along, with jokes woven through the performance. It's a one-off evening performance on Friday 13th November 2026 at 7.30pm, with tickets priced at £22 including booking fees. The theatre's own publicity nods to hearing aids and Zimmer frames in its tongue-in-cheek write-up, so this looks to be pitched at an older crowd rather than a family show.
