A public running day for the miniature railway at Ashton Court, open 12:00 to 17:00.

Ashton Court Miniature Railway opens its gates for one of its regular public running days, giving visitors the chance to ride the scaled-down steam-era style trains around the estate. Trains run from 12:00 to 17:00, with tickets available on the day from the ticket office at £1.75 per ride or five rides for £7.50, and children under 2 travel free. The railway is run by the Bristol Society of Model and Experimental Engineers and can only be reached by car via the Clifton Lodge Gatehouse off the A369. SatNav users are advised to enter "Ashton Court Golf Course car park" to find the right entrance. Worth noting that running days can be affected by bad weather, so it's best to check the railway's Facebook page or call during public running hours if conditions look doubtful.
