Noises Off Morning

A quieter monthly museum morning with sound effects turned down for visitors with sensory processing needs.

On the last Monday of each month, the Army Flying Museum turns sound effects off or down so that visitors with sensory processing issues can explore in a calmer environment. The booking system also caps numbers on these mornings to keep things from getting crowded. You'll need a valid museum admission ticket, annual pass or membership to attend, but there's no extra charge for the session itself. Anyone hoping to catch the normal sound effects or the Helicopters in Action show is advised to visit on a different day, as these are turned off during Noises Off mornings. Sessions run 9am to 12.30pm, though it's best to check the booking system in case a date is moved or cancelled.
