Last open day of the summer season for train rides on the miniature railway, £2 each.
Sunday 11th October is the last day of the summer season at Abbeydale Miniature Railway, open from 1pm to 5pm. Visitors can take a ride on the 7¼" gauge live steam locomotives for £2 each, with light refreshments, ice creams and souvenirs on sale while the railway is open. The site is wheelchair accessible and has a carriage funded by the Lottery so most wheelchair users can enjoy a ride too. Entry to the railway itself is free, with free parking usually available in the on-site field depending on weather conditions. Dogs are welcome on leads but cannot go on the trains, and ball games, other throwing games and BBQs are not permitted on the premises.
