Drama & Performing Arts in Brighton
If your child fancies proper stage time rather than just messing about in the living room, the Academy of Creative Training is close to the centre and runs Saturday drama classes for ages 7 to 18. It builds acting skills and confidence over time, and there's a 50-seat theatre on site, which means the group actually gets to perform in front of an audience rather than just rehearsing. There is only the one option here for now, but it covers a wide age range, from primary schoolers through to teenagers, and the on-site cafe and restaurant make Saturday drop-offs easier if you fancy a coffee while you wait. Worth asking whether your child needs any experience first, since ages 7 to 18 covers a lot of ground.
