What it’s like
Woodland birthday parties and forest school sessions built around campfires, bushcraft and themed play like Gruffalo or Minecraft.
This is a woodland base for parties and sessions that lean into bushcraft rather than bouncy castles. Kids get stuck into loose parts play, craft and painting workshops, and outdoor skills sessions, with campfire cooking and toasting marshmallows as the bit that tends to stick in the memory. Parties come themed, Gruffalo, Fairies, Minecraft, or Bows and Arrows among them, so you can match the party to whichever obsession your child has that month.
A party session runs 1.5 hours and covers up to 10 children for £220, which works out reasonable per head once you count in the activities, food, marshmallow toasting and a piñata all being included. Extra children are £18 each up to a maximum of 15.
Outside of parties, there's forest school playgroups for younger ones and separate sessions for older children, plus home education sessions and school visits. It's outdoor-led throughout, so this suits kids who are happy getting mucky and don't need a roof over their heads to have a good time.
