What it’s like
Two indoor 18-hole adventure golf courses with a post-apocalyptic theme, plus interactive darts for the over-12s.
Two indoor courses, Inner City and Park Central, both 18 holes, both playable on their own or back to back for the full 36. One round takes 30 to 45 minutes, so it's a decent length for a three-year-old's attention span without dragging on. Do both and you're looking at 60 to 90 minutes, which suits the older kids who want the full crawl through the ruins.
Pricing is tiered by age rather than one flat rate, which is fairer than it sounds. Under-5s get in for £6 (18 holes), 6 to 11s pay £9, and everyone 12 and over pays £12. If there's a mix of ages in your group the Family Pass at £37 for 18 holes covers four of you, as long as one's an adult and one's under 16. Turning up before noon gets the Dawn Patrol rate of £9 a head for 18 holes, which is worth building a morning around if your crew is up early anyway.
Putters and balls are provided. Darts is there too but it's strictly 12 and up, so younger siblings will be watching from the golf side while the teenagers have a go. Food is proper casual dining, pizzas, hot dogs, loaded fries, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, and there's a restaurant licence for cocktails if you're eating too.
It's all indoor, so the weather outside doesn't come into it. Parking is at the O2 car parks a few minutes away with 1500 spaces between them, though they warn it gets tight on SSE Arena event nights, and there's decent public transport on the doorstep as a backup.
