What it’s like

Soft play frames and a disco room for kids from babies up to 11, with a café doing burgers and pizza on the side.

The main pull here is the soft play frames, and there's a disco room too, which is the bit that'll get mentioned on the way home more than any climbing net. It suits babies right up to 11 year olds, or anyone under 4'10", so you've genuinely got toddlers and school-age kids under one roof without either group being bored.

Price depends entirely on when you turn up. Get there on a weekday morning in term time and it's £5.75 for an under-5, but the same visit after 3pm or on a weekend jumps to £6.95 or £7.55. That's a fair swing for the same soft play, so if you can do mornings in term time it's worth arranging round that. There's no booking needed, you just turn up, which takes one thing off the list on a rainy Tuesday.

Food's sorted on site, with a children's menu, breakfast options, burgers, pizza and paninis mostly in the £4.95 to £7.45 range. There's also a play and eat combo ticket if you'd rather not queue twice, running £8.99 for under-5s in the morning slot or £10.99 after 3pm. Term time also brings parent and toddler sessions with a free cookie thrown in, which is a small thing but a nice one.

Birthday parties are clearly a big part of what they do, with four package levels from £10.99 up to £16.99, all two hours with a host, buffet and cake ceremony. Twins go in for one and a half prices and triplets get one free, which is a genuinely useful detail if that applies to you. NHS staff and Blue Light Card holders get a discount too.
