Pottery and glass art workshops with professional artists, plus contemporary ceramics and prints to look round.
This is a working gallery and studio space where the workshops are the main event. Professional artists lead pottery and glass art sessions, so it's hands-on rather than just looking at things on walls, which makes it a decent shout if your kids get restless in a normal gallery.
There's also contemporary ceramics, painting and printmaking on show if you fancy a wander round before or after a workshop. It's all indoors, so a rainy Wednesday afternoon in Hull is exactly when this comes into its own.
Opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm, which is a tighter window than a lot of places. There's a gift shop on site if you want to take a bit of the visit home with you.
