What it’s like

Sunday nights turn into a Latin Fiesta here, with salsa, bachata and kizomba classes followed by social dancing until 2am.

This is an adults-out night, not a family one. The format on Sundays is classes first, then social dancing under the Latin Fiesta banner, running 6pm through to 2am. Salsa gets the beginner and intermediate treatment, and there's bachata and kizomba too, so if you've never danced a step in your life you're not the only one in the room.

Money-wise it's straightforward. Classes plus the social dancing after is £10 a head, or £9 with student ID. If you just want the social dancing without the class, that drops to £5, or £4 for students. Cash is what they'd rather you turned up with for the door.

Food leans Mediterranean, tapas and grill dishes, and there's a bottomless brunch drinks menu on Friday from 7pm, Saturday from 2pm and Sunday from 3pm, so you could easily make an afternoon of it before the dancing starts. Worth knowing this is a proper party venue, with DJs from 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays, so the music isn't background noise. Parking's free on the street around the venue after 6pm, which takes the sting out of a night that could otherwise run late.
