What it’s like

A paint-your-own pottery studio where kids pick a piece, slap on the colours, and you collect it once it's fired.

You pick a piece of pottery blank, sit down at a table, and get stuck into painting it however you like. There's no rush to be neat about it either, since the whole point is the mess-free version of messy fun; the paints, glaze and firing are all part of the deal, and the studio holds onto your piece to fire it before you go back to collect it.

Alongside the painting, they do baby clay imprints too, which is a nice one if you've got a little one and fancy a keepsake rather than just another mug for the cupboard.

It's open Monday and Thursday to Saturday from 11 until 4:30, and Sundays 11 to 4, but shut on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There's free parking right outside, which takes one faff out of the day, and baby changing on site if you've got a small one in tow. Birthday parties are on offer too, described as mess-free and stress-free, with a gift for the birthday child and invitations sorted.

Worth knowing they're closed for a stretch in late September and early October 2026, reopening 3 October, so that's one to avoid if you're planning a visit around then.
