What it’s like

Trampoline sessions and soft play under one roof, with separate toddler bounce times so under-fives aren't dodging teenagers mid-air.

This is a trampoline park first and foremost, but they've split the sessions by age so you're not putting a toddler in with a pack of after-school kids doing backflips. Open Bounce and After School sessions are for 5 and up, Toddler Bounce and Puppy Play cover 0-5, and there's adult bounce too if you fancy joining in rather than standing at the side with a coffee. Soft play runs separately for the 0-7s, with a cheaper rate for babies under one.

The socks are the bit that catches people out. You have to wear Freedog-branded anti-slip socks for anything trampoline-related, no exceptions for socks from other parks, and hire is £3.50 if you turn up without your own pair. Add that to the £17 for an Open Bounce session and it's not a cheap afternoon, though booking 12 hours ahead knocks a pound off. Soft play is a gentler £7.50 for the 2-7s bracket, which feels more reasonable for a rainy Tuesday.

Booking is pushed hard here, and for good reason: sessions do fill up and walk-ins can get turned away, so it's worth sorting online before you set off rather than chancing it. Paying and filling in the waiver in advance also speeds up getting through the door, which matters if you've got a five-year-old bouncing off the walls before they've even reached the trampolines. There's a café doing pizzas and smoothies if you need to refuel afterwards, and parking on site, though you do need to tap your registration into the iPads at the desk.

Parties here run for an hour of trampolining plus half an hour in a party room with pizza and drinks included, which is a fairly complete package if you're after a birthday that doesn't need much extra planning. It's a five-minute walk from Temple Meads if you're coming by train, which makes it an easy add-on if you're already in the city centre for the day.

Plan your visit

How much does it cost?

Open Bounce and After School sessions are £17, or £16 if you book at least 12 hours ahead. Toddler Bounce and Puppy Play are £8.50, and soft play is £7.50 for 2-7s or £3.50 for under-ones.

Do we need to book?

Book online or by phone before you go. Sessions can fill up and they may turn walk-ups away.

What age is Toddler Bounce for?

0 to 5 years, kept separate from the older kids' sessions so it's a calmer bounce.

Do we need special socks?

Yes, Freedog-branded anti-slip socks are compulsory for any trampoline activity. Socks from other trampoline parks aren't accepted, and hire is £3.50 if you need them.

Can we turn up late?

Try to arrive on time, since your session includes the signing-in process and running late eats into your bounce time.

What's in a party package?

An hour of trampolining, half an hour in a party room, plus pizza and drinks. The Mega Dog Party is £23.50 a head, Puppy Party is £20.

Is there parking?

There's an on-site car park, but you need to enter your registration number on the iPads at the desk.

What food is there?

A café serving pizzas, paninis, sweet treats, coffee and smoothies, with last food orders an hour before closing.

Is it easy to get to without a car?

Temple Meads station is a five-minute walk away, and buses X39, 1, 2 and 2a stop nearby too.

Is there a discount for childminders?

15% off soft play if you've got an Ofsted certificate.

What if my child has additional needs?

Call or email ahead for a 15% discount for SEND participants, or a free carer entry.
