What it’s like
Take the kids into a timed escape-room game in Coalville: puzzles, themes and teamwork - not soft play.
This is an escape-room venue (with axe throwing at a second site), not soft play. You book a themed room, get a set time on the clock, and work through puzzles and story props as a team. Escape rooms sit at Belvoir Shopping Centre; some games and Axecape axe throwing run at the Marlene Reid Centre on Belvoir Road.
Standard escape games are priced per person by group size from two to six players. Under-14s need an adult on site. Check which site your room uses before you set off - a few games need stairs or crawling.
Indoors, booking required. Belvoir Shopping Centre car park is free for the first two hours then paid. Lockers and toilets at the Belvoir site.
