What it’s like

Live gigs on show evenings, strictly over 18s unless the venue says otherwise.

This is a night out for the grown-ups, not a family stop. Shows run from 7pm to 11.30pm and unless the venue specifically says otherwise, it is strictly over 18s, so this one is for whoever's got a babysitter sorted and fancies a proper night of live music.

Tickets come from the box office at the venue itself, open 7pm to 10pm on show evenings. There's no mention of booking online, so turning up early on the night looks like the way most people get in, though booking fees can apply if you do get tickets through an outlet. Worth knowing there's no refund policy unless the venue cancels or reschedules the show, so you'll want to be fairly sure of your plans before you commit.

Parking is one thing they've made easy: free bays around the building, or a larger car park about 100 yards on if those are full. Beyond that, the site keeps things simple, it's about the gig, not the extras.
