What it’s like

An 18 and over cabaret night in Belfast with drag and variety acts, a set dinner, and a post-show party.

This one's for the grown-ups only, no under-18s admitted. You book an evening show, sit down at a shared or reserved table, and watch a live variety line-up of drag performers and entertainers while you eat. Dinner isn't a side option here, it's mandatory with every package, at least a main course included, so this is dinner and a show in the truest sense rather than a show with snacks on the side.

Prices run from £34.50 up through £39.50 and £45 to £49.50, depending on the package, and that gap matters when you're deciding whether it's a casual night or the full treatment with extras. Vegetarian and vegan options are on the dining menu if you flag it when booking. Tables are held for you all evening, but be warned you might be sharing yours with strangers, which is either half the fun of cabaret or a faff depending on your mood.

On weekend evening variety shows, the night doesn't stop when the performers take their bow. There's post-show entertainment, either live music or a DJ, so the room turns into a dance floor once the tables have been cleared of plates. Stag and hen groups can come along but need management approval by email before booking, and traditional fancy dress like sashes or L-plates is banned at the door.

There's no formal cloakroom, so keep bags small enough to tuck under your seat. Booking ahead is strongly advised rather than optional, and if you're running late, try not to miss dinner altogether, as food can only be ordered up until 9.30pm.
