Interactive Battle of Bosworth exhibition, Discovery Zone and free country-park trails near Market Bosworth.
Walk the 1485 battlefield trails for free, then step into the ticketed exhibition where kids can try on replica armour, dig into the Discovery Zone and piece together how Richard III lost his crown.
Exhibition tickets: Adult £10, Concession £9, Child (3-15) £6.95, Family from £20. Under-3s and accompanied carers free. A ticket gives 12 months re-entry to the exhibition (not valid for the Medieval Festival). Guided walks run on weekends and bank holidays from £3 child / £4.50 adult.
Open daily: April-October 10:00-17:00; November-March 10:00-16:00 (last exhibition entry one hour before close). Tithe Barn Cafe and gift shop on site. Pay and display parking from £2.
About 12 miles from Leicester / easy day-trip from Hinckley and Market Bosworth - brown crossed-swords signs from the main roads.

How do we find it?
Set in the heart of England between Sutton Cheney and Shenton, accessible by road, foot, canal and via the Battlefield Railway line. Follow brown signs with crossed swords. Approx 9.5km/6 miles from Jct 1 on the M69, close to Market Bosworth, 5.5km/3.5 miles north from Hinckley and 19km/12 miles from Leicester. Bus service 153 runs from Leicester to Market Bosworth (not Sundays); Fox Connect on-demand bus service also available. Rail services to Nuneaton and Leicester, plus the Battlefield Line heritage railway from Shackerstone Station. Canal visitors can use 48-hour visitor moorings at Sutton Cheney Wharf on the Ashby Canal.
