What it’s like
Go karts, a giant burger build and a sensory room under one roof, with prices that scale by age.
The big draw here is the play frame, but it's the extras that make it stand out from your average soft play: go karts to ride, a giant burger to build, and a stars and stripes flag ride that sounds like exactly the sort of thing a four-year-old will insist on doing six times in a row. There's a sensory room too, tucked away for kids who need a quieter minute away from the noise.
Pricing is banded by age rather than one flat fee, which is fair enough but means a family with kids at different ages will end up doing some maths at the till. Under 1s are £2.95, ages 1 to 3 are £6.95, and 4 to 10 jumps to £7.95. One adult goes in free with a full paying child, and extra grown-ups are £2 each, so it's not a bad deal if you're bringing grandad along too.
Term time Mondays are closed, which is worth knowing if you're planning a spontaneous midweek trip. The rest of the week it's open 10 till 6, and school holiday Mondays get the same hours as everything else. There's an on-site café for food and drinks, with high chairs available if you've got a baby in tow, and an under 5s area away from the bigger kids.
If you're thinking about a birthday party, the play party package gets you 90 minutes of play plus a 30 minute lunch in a dedicated party room, from £13.95 a child with a minimum of 10 children. One thing to flag: they don't allow party decorations because of health and safety rules around ribbons and confetti, so leave the balloons at home and ask the party organiser what they can do instead.
