What it’s like

Brunch, coffee and plant-based soft serve under a glass roof in Hockley, with cocktails once the day rolls on.

This is a brunch and coffee spot first, with the soft serve ice cream running all day if that's more what you're after. The menu carries on into cocktails later on, so it does a decent job of covering breakfast through to early evening without feeling like two different places.

It's booking required, which is a bit of a faff for a café but there you go. If you're turning up with a pushchair, mention it when you book rather than hoping for the best on the day. Dogs are welcome too, and there's wifi if you want to sit with a coffee for a while.

Hours run 8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, stretching to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 5pm on Sundays. The kitchen shuts half an hour before the doors do, so don't leave your order to the last minute on a Sunday afternoon.

Plan your visit

Do we need to book?

You do, it's not just walk in and hope. Best to sort that before you set off.

Can we bring a pushchair?

You can get in fine with one, just flag it when you book so they know you're coming with it.

What's on the menu?

Brunch and coffee through the day, cocktails later on, and plant-based soft serve available whenever you fancy it.

How late is the kitchen open?

It stops half an hour before the place shuts, so a bit earlier than the doors close each day.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, they're welcome to come along too.
