What it’s like
Four sensory rooms and role play corners like a mini supermarket and vets, booked in one hour fifteen minute slots.
The main pull is the sensory slide and ball pit, plus role play sets built as a construction site, a car garage, a vets, a supermarket and a home corner. There are four purpose built sensory rooms to work through in a session, and with a one hour fifteen slot you've got time to hit most of them without rushing.
It is £11 a head, or £7 for the first sibling if you book them alongside, and everyone else after that is another fiver. That's a fair chunk for just over an hour, but it's exclusive use of the rooms rather than sharing with a dozen other families, which changes how it feels. Booking ahead is required, and if you need to cancel or move it, they want 24 hours notice or your slot just gets reopened for someone else.
Food is where it gets a bit strict: no eating or snacking while you're using the rooms and equipment, aside from during birthday parties or if a child genuinely needs a specific food to stay calm during the session. Tea, coffee and juice are included though, and there's a fridge and tables if you bring your own food to have before or after. Parking next door is free for the first hour and £1 for three, free all day Sunday, which is handy if you're stretching the visit.
Birthday parties run for two hours at £210 total, with exclusive use and staff on hand, though you'll need to sort your own food, decorations and balloons. If a hoist is needed in the disabled toilet, bring your own sling, they don't supply one.
