What it’s like

A Division Street coffee stop that opens early and stays open into the evening, handy for a break between shops.

This is the Sheffield branch of the 200 Degrees roasting chain, sat on Division Street where you're already walking between shops. It's a coffee shop rather than a sit-down café with a menu of surprises, so don't expect anything beyond coffee and the usual food that goes with it.

The hours are the best bit for anyone juggling a buggy round town. It opens at 7am on weekdays, which beats most places nearby, and doesn't shut until 8.30pm. Weekends start a bit later, 7.30am on Saturday and 8am on Sunday, but you've still got until 8pm to duck in.

There's no booking link, so this is a walk-in job rather than something you plan ahead. If you're picturing a play corner for the kids while you drink your coffee in peace, that's not what's on offer here, it's a proper coffee shop, not a soft play with a till.

Worth knowing if you're into your coffee: they run barista classes, though you'll need to leave the kids with someone else for that one, the minimum age is 16.
