It's part of the museum's wider half-term programme marking the Bayeux Tapestry's return to England and its links to York, alongside other activities such as the Creative Families craft session and outdoor performances in York Museum Gardens. The weaving activity is included in general admission, which lasts 12 months so you can pay once and visit free all year. The Yorkshire Museum is open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays, and family saver tickets are available, with York resident children under 16 going free.
