The Great Big Bug Show

Poet Simon Mole and musician Gecko's family show of poems, raps and songs about bugs, part of the Inspire Poetry Festival.

Which beetle has a blaster on its bottom? Which eight-legged hunter has fangs as big as a cheetah's claws? Poet Simon Mole and musician Gecko bring their family show of poems, raps and songs about your favourite bugs (and a few you haven't heard of yet) to West Bridgford Library as part of the Inspire Poetry Festival. Expect minibeasts and massive beats - every tune is an earworm, even the ones about woodlice. It's a fun, interactive look at the secret world beneath our feet, with a gentle nudge to look after the small creatures in it. Saturday 26 September 2026 at 10:30am. Tickets £3.
