Bridging the Gap

Free drop-in K'nex bridge-building challenge at W5 LIFE, Belfast, on Saturday 3 October.

Teams design and build a bridge out of K'nex that has to span a set distance, then watch it face the ultimate test as weight is gradually added to see how much it can hold. It's a hands-on mix of engineering, creativity and friendly competition, run as a free drop-in session with no pre-booking needed. There are two sessions on the day, 10am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-4pm, so you can turn up for whichever suits. Children must be supervised by an adult throughout. W5 LIFE is located within The O2 Belfast, facing the main entrance to W5.
