Visit Santa in his Grotto

Meet Santa in his grotto at Twinlakes, with a sleigh ride, animated scenes and a gift, running on selected dates through December.

Head through Twinlakes' grotto trail past animated characters and elves, take a sleigh ride through the snowy scenes, then meet Santa by the fire in his log cabin where children get a gift from the golden ticket system. You book a date and time slot online, and the time on your ticket is when you join the queue rather than the exact moment you'll see Santa. Professional photos are available to buy on the day, but you can't take your own photos inside the grotto itself. A Twinlakes day ticket is needed on top of the grotto ticket for everyone visiting, unless you already hold an annual pass or have a pre-paid ticket. Accompanying adults go in free but don't get a gift, and only children with a valid grotto ticket receive one. Note that pushchairs and buggies aren't allowed inside the grotto, and large mobility scooters can't be accommodated. The grotto runs from 28th November to 24th December, with the run made up of weekends (6th-7th and 13th-14th December) plus the run of dates from 20th to 24th December.
