Portico Ubuntu: Diaspora Dine and Discussion - 100 years of Black History Month

A dine-and-discussion evening in the Reading Room marking 100 years of Black History Month.

The Portico Library hosts the inaugural Diaspora Dine & Discussion, an evening event led by Carol Ann Whitehead, Chair of the Library's Public Programme Committee, held in the iconic Reading Room. It's part of the Portico Ubuntu programme marking 100 years of Black History Month, bringing people together over food and conversation in the Library's historic setting at 57 Mosley Street, Manchester. This is an adult event centred on dining and discussion rather than a family activity.
