A 3-hour workshop at The Out of the Blue Drill Hall teaching how to thread, tension and maintain an overlocker sewing machine.

Remode Collective run this hands-on workshop for anyone who's got an overlocker and doesn't feel confident using it, or who's thinking about getting one. You'll learn what the machine's parts do, how to thread it and adjust the tension, different seam and edge-finishing techniques, and how to practise sewing straight lines, curves and corners. There's also guidance on maintaining the machine to avoid costly repairs. The workshop is kept small so there's plenty of one-to-one time with the teacher. It runs for three hours at the OOTB Drill Hall on Dalmeny Street, Edinburgh.
