This evening event at the Hunterian Art Gallery brings together University of Glasgow colleagues to explore the 1970s in the United States, tying in with the exhibition Naeem Mohaiemen: THROUGH A MIRROR, DARKLY. The discussion looks at a decade described as one of hopeful rebellions and catastrophic disappointments, touching on the social and political turbulence of the period. It runs from 6pm to 7.30pm on Thursday 1 October 2026, with various speakers from the university taking part. Booking is required in advance.
