DATES

20-30 October 2026

TIMES

11:00-12:40

A guided walk through Sudbury's historic parkland with the Head Gardener, taking in the 18th century Deercote.

Join the Head Gardener at The Children's Country House at Sudbury for a hosted walk out into the surrounding historic parkland, with the chance to discover the 18th century Deercote along the way. It's a good option for anyone keen on gardens, history or a proper look at the grounds beyond the house itself, with someone on hand to point out what you're looking at and answer questions as you go. The walk runs on selected dates between 20 and 30 October 2026, starting at 11am and lasting until 12:40pm. Sensible footwear is a good idea given the parkland setting. Admission to The Children's Country House is free for National Trust members, with standard admission prices applying otherwise.
