Shining a light on: Christianity, Politics and the Common Good

An afternoon lecture at Southwell Minster on Christianity, politics and the Common Good with speaker Jenny Sinclair.

Jenny Sinclair, Founder and Director of Together for the Common Good, gives a lecture exploring the concept of the Common Good at a time when institutions are widely felt to be losing their purpose and integrity. She draws on the tradition of Catholic Social Teaching to argue why the Common Good matters, for Christians and non-Christians alike. Jenny also co-hosts the podcast Leaving Egypt, which looks at what it means to be God's people in a time of great change. The talk takes place in the Quire at Southwell Minster. Tickets cost £7 plus a booking fee and can be bought in the Cathedral Shop, online, or on the door.
