Music in the State Chamber 2026

A 2026 series of free Sunday evening chamber concerts in Southwell Minster's historic State Chamber.

This is a programme of chamber concerts held on Sunday evenings at 7.30pm through 2026, taking place in the historic State Chamber of the Archbishop's Palace at Southwell Minster, with the exception of the 10 May concert which is held elsewhere. Admission is free with no reservations needed, and there is a retiring collection in support of Southwell Minster Choir Association. The December concert in the series is ticketed rather than free, so check which date you're attending. The series suits anyone with an interest in classical and chamber music looking for a regular evening concert to attend.
