Chorister Experience 2026

A morning session at Southwell Minster giving children a taste of what it's like to be a chorister.

Southwell Minster is running a Chorister Experience on 10th October 2026, starting at 10am. It's a chance for children to find out what being part of the Minster's choir involves, held in the historic surroundings of the cathedral itself. The event is listed among the Minster's regular events alongside its choirs and music programme, including the Minster Melody Makers and Small Sounds groups, suggesting this is aimed at introducing young people to choral singing and the choir community. Details on booking are not given on this page, so families interested should look out for further information from the Minster nearer the time.
