Curator at Work: Secrets & Stories from the Collections

Drop in and chat to curators as they work in the galleries about their current projects.

Curator at Work is a series of informal drop-in sessions where you can find curators working in the galleries and talking to visitors about what they're currently researching or putting together. There's no need to book, just turn up during a visit and see what's going on behind the scenes of the collections. It runs from 9 September to 10 December 2026, so there's plenty of chance to catch a session if you're already planning a trip. It suits anyone curious about museum work and how exhibitions and displays come together, rather than being aimed at a particular age group.
