TIDES: (Intertidal) is a free one-day festival at the Queen's House in Greenwich, exploring how migration has shaped lives and communities across generations. The programme includes a zine-making workshop, a children's reading workshop with The Black Curriculum, archival displays from groups such as WANAWAL, bunar, AVA and the 1834 Collective, a movement workshop, a paper houses craft workshop, curated film screenings on Balkan and diasporic themes, gallery tours of the 'Crossings' display, and talks including an artist conversation and a panel discussion on solidarity across arts and heritage sectors. The event runs across the Queen's House and the nearby National Maritime Museum, with sessions in different rooms throughout the day. People of all ages and backgrounds are invited to take part, though the children's reading workshop has a capacity of 30 and children will need to be supervised. One of the film screenings carries a content advisory for war themes and strong language.
