Peggy's Spotlight feat Sophie Speed Quintet and Louis Chapman Quintet

A double header of early-career jazz talent: the Sophie Speed Quintet and Nottingham's Louis Chapman Quintet.

Peggy's Spotlight returns with a showcase for early-career musicians, featuring two quintets on one bill. The Sophie Speed Quintet open with original compositions rooted in jazz tradition but with a fresh, contemporary edge, followed by Nottingham's own Louis Chapman Quintet playing a mix of Louis's original music and jazz standards. It's a live music night at Peggy's Skylight, the Nottingham jazz club, bar and kitchen on George Street, with food and drink available during the show.
