Free oral history and photography exhibition at North Lincolnshire Museum on community champions and migration along Oswald and Frodingham Road.
Up Our Road is a free exhibition of personal interviews and photographic portraits documenting people who work to strengthen their communities around Oswald and Frodingham Road, one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in North Lincolnshire, home to community centres, churches, a gurdwara and mosques. It tells stories of migration, leadership and contribution, including Roj Rahman, co-owner of Scunthorpe United Football Club. The exhibition runs at North Lincolnshire Museum on Oswald Road, Scunthorpe, with entry free of charge. The museum is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 1pm to 4pm, and the venue is wheelchair accessible with support for hearing and visually impaired visitors and guide dogs welcome.
